Welcome to the multicultural supermarket!
We – the Öztürk Brothers – stand with our name for a unique purchasing pleasure. Our family business Öz-Gida embodies our philosophy to offer you highly qualitative wares to fair prices. Yet we are not an anonymous and hectic discounter. To us, the personal contact to our customers – to you – is the most important thing.
Like no other business, our supermarket, being situated in the middle of Schöneberg, reflects the character of Berlin as an immigrant’s city and as a melting pot of different cultures. Allow our staff to introduce you in an exceptional world, a world to discover from the culinary point of view – a world of Turkish specialities, typically German products and oriental treats.
We are looking forward to seeing you here!
Your Öz-Gida Team
23 years Öz-Gida
Öz-Gida had in the year 2009 its 20th anniversary as a business, and our market in Hauptstraße 16 had its 10th anniversary. We took this event to celebrate our anniversary with you – our customers – for a perioad of 30 days with numerous jubilee offers, drawings, tastings and presents to thank you for your loyalty. The friendly smile of our clientele that is accompanying us for 23 years now gives us the affirmation that we took the right way with our fair prices and obliging business philosophy. We want to thank you for your support and we are looking forward to celebrating our next round anniversary with you.

Organic foods are made according to certain production standards. For the vast majority of human history, agriculture can be described as organic; only during the 20th century was a large supply of new synthetic chemicals introduced to the food supply. This more recent style of production is referred to as "conventional." Under organic production, the use of conventional non-organic pesticides, insecticides and herbicides is greatly restricted and saved as a last resort. However, contrary to popular belief, certain non-organic fertilizers are still used. If livestock are involved, they must be reared without the routine use of antibiotics and without the use of growth hormones, and generally fed a healthy diet. (Wikipedia)
